Kremlin spokesman tests positive for coronavirus

TEHRAN, May 12 (MNA) – Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that he has contracted COVID-19, a disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

According to TASS, Dmitry Peskov had tested positive for COVID-19.

"Yes, I have fallen ill," he said, answering a corresponding question. "I am receiving treatment."

As of Tuesday, in Russia, the latest reports put the number of infected at 232,243, with the death toll hitting 2,116.
